Avi Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Hi guys, I did another test, here's the good stuff, you can tell what's going on and I tryed to employ some old 2D stuff into it also! It's 22 seconds long and here it is: http://www.avituchman.com/animation/test_2.mov Quote
jamagica Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 pretty good overall...put some moving holds in there! right now it looks very "freezy".. the springing looks very weird. Springing upward wouldn't be a faster/stronger force than coming down...they'd be about the same...make the springing action of up/down about the same speed. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 26, 2005 Hash Fellow Posted November 26, 2005 ouch... 38 megs for only 22 seconds? That doesn't have to be. still waiting for download to finish.... Quote
ChrisThom Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Prety cute. My only critique is that you can't read the sign because of the shadow. Quote

Yeah, I also had a problem with the stuff that I intended to be snappy. Although, I have some moving holds in there, I just didn't know that they were called that... Also, which springing thing are you talking about? The one where he's like an accordian or when he jumps up? ouch... 38 megs for only 22 seconds? That doesn't have to be. still waiting for download to finish.... I hope it finishes soon... What should I do to fix it? Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 27, 2005 Hash Fellow Posted November 27, 2005 OK, it finished downloading. One problem with the jumps is that he leaves the ground before he's finished stretching. that means any force he's applying to the ground never really gets applied, making his flight in the air look impossible. that stretch should happen in one or two frames at most. Boing! take a look at theses bounces: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?s=&sh...ndpost&p=143990 compression: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?s=&sh...ndpost&p=145375 Quote
