Heath_Naylor Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Tell me what you think, the blue parts are supposed to have a glow to them, but it just isn't strong enough, I don't know why... Quote
luckbat Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Original design, but at the moment it looks too geometric--a lot of plain cylinders and simple polygonal boxes. Would you consider adding some tapering and beveling? Quote
Heath_Naylor Posted September 24, 2005 Author Posted September 24, 2005 tapering What is that? beveling? K! Thanks for the quick reply. Yes this is a relitivly simple model, and my first real one, I don't want to get too advanced because I want this to be like the Ford of mechs not a Lexus, but I will tone it up a bit. Quote
luckbat Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Tapering = making one end of a cylinder narrower than the other end. You know, like a carrot. Quote
Heath_Naylor Posted September 24, 2005 Author Posted September 24, 2005 You know, like a carrot. Oh, cool, thanks and a good idea Quote
Gene Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 As far as the glow goes, you can turn that up in the Choreography...or turn up the radius. Play with those settings and you should get the effect you want. Cheers, Eugene Quote
