RViewer Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Here is early texturework on a hover vehicle. I will be working on the windshield next. Any suggestions? Quote
Scottj3d Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 I'm starting to see the bigger picture now. This kinda has the carbon fiber/anodized look. Cool! Quote
RViewer Posted July 5, 2005 Author Posted July 5, 2005 Glad you like it Scott. Any suggestions on what to change? And when do I get to see your Batman? Quote
Scottj3d Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Any suggestions on what to change? And when do I get to see your Batman? No idea's as you are probably using this for an RPG or something (hence the terran and AI soldiers and transport's) and too much detail result's in lag. But I do like external weaponry so maybe an E.M pulse turret or something but it's your concept so I'll watch it develop. So far the AI technology shares similarity in design. As to "BatPhim" he's not ready to post here yet and I didn't want to post him on your thread so check your e-mail. Quote
Mr. Jaqe Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Yes! Turrets! We love turrets! Do turrets! All spacecrafts need turrets! Did I mention turrets? 'cuz you need them, ya know... Ahuh, turrets. And does it have a large, glowing engine? We love those Quote
RViewer Posted July 6, 2005 Author Posted July 6, 2005 Well I think I will be checking my email and modeling some EM pulse turrets.. In that order Thanks for the advice guys, I will post again when I implement some changes. Quote
RViewer Posted July 6, 2005 Author Posted July 6, 2005 Here is the scale you would expect to see at full zoom in a RTS such as Emperor Dune or CandC Generals. And usually the units are viewed from a greater distance. This is to give some idea of the level of detail I am working with until we implement the FPS aspect of the game. Quote
