Tunames Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Thanks to MIke fitz's tute on decal relationships I was able to figure out how to use a pose slider instead of a bone to drive the percetage relationship of the bump map.....Click here to see an example pretty cool stuff.......Thanks Mike Quote
Kamikaze Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Steve, Those are great looking bump wrinkles....I did Mikes tut and found if very infornative also, but I have yet to apply it to so0mrthing of mine, yet! Thanks for showing your work, Michael Quote
KenH Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Well applied. I would suggest though that those specific wrinkle areas are fairly easily done by modeling the natural splineage flow. This method would be more ideal (IMO!) for the crow's feet area at the side of the eyes. Quote
3DArtZ Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Steve, that was excellent!!!! Very impressive results! I swear, sometimes I think that Martin Hash is just sitting around saying to himself "it's about time people start using all the tools!!!!!!!!!!" It's really crazy to me how many things we can easily do with the software. While Ken brings up a good point about the natural flow of the splines to be used to create the folds.... you loose the power of the software to use the absolute bare minimum of splines and still create great looking effects. Nice work Steve, really exicted about your results! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com Quote
