I think Venture Brothers has a relevant clip for nearly everything, if you look hard enough:
Also, congrats on 100k views! You are well on your way to monetization!

So, anyone want to get a group buy together?
https://gsaauctions.gov/auctions/preview/282996
If you parted it out and sold the Xeons for $50 each, you could clear about $400k.
Or if you have your own personal reactor onsite, buy the whole thing and stick it in your basement!

Today at Live Answer Time we tried all the wrong ways to put a skirt on someone, then we did it the right way... simcloth!
Heh that turned out pretty well with the tartan texture.

I like the information presented. I applaud their experiment.
I tire of the reality-show format.I think everyone is tired of reality shows, by this point.
I'm not sure how these guys make their money, I don't know if they are doing actual effects projects for clients (I assume they are) or if the YouTube channel is their primary source of revenue. They've done some cool stuff, though.

Ever wonder how they keyed transparent objects in Mary Poppins? Disney had a secret tech that was better than normal chroma key:
Thought you might be interested since we had a discussion on chroma key on Saturday.

Hurray..,
I'm number 766 on the list.
What a load of candidates with great efforts. If I had looked at the results before I began, I never would have started.
Djay.
Do they have the entries posted anywhere? I'd be interested to have a look at them.

Spoiler: Steve “What’s the Super Bowl?” Jobs didn't want to run it.
WOW. I had never heard that before. That has to be one of the most iconic ad spots of all time, and he didn't want to run it???

Very cool, Rob! Thanks for sharing.

I can confirm that a lot of times when I had a scene that looked off or "plastic", it was due to relying on omni lights to illuminate the scene.

Mark Largent pointed this one out.
This is an astonishing number of mostly-memorable, mostly pretty-good songs to have in one year.
1984 was peak music and peak hair.
"Money for Nothing," the first CG music video, isn't here... it happens in 1985.
God I miss the 80s. Those were some good years for tunes.

Hey, guys, I'm wondering if you can help me smooth some models out. I struggle with making the models smooth and less cracked. I'm in a time crunch as I'm working on an animation series, so any help would be great. I just need the models smoothed out. Thank you!
the models are down below.
Here are some really good tutorials on basic splining:
Mark Largent also did a really good comic book style tutorial, I'll have to dig around and see if I can find it. @largento Mark, do you have a link to that comic book splining tutorial you did? I think I have a copy somewhere but it might take me a while to find it.

Yeah after having another look at it I think you're correct, it's kind hard to tell from the photo where he's on the dais exactly how he's twisting his torso.
-
It's a good start.
@robcat2075 mentioned the tail, but I think the tail is correct, at least based on this movie still:

Happy New Year, Rob!

Nicely done animation! Happy New Year to you as well.

I hope you do well, I had thought about entering but managed to talk myself out of it. I wasn't sure I had enough time to pull off anything I was going to be happy with.
-
Cool animation! Did you enter the official Pink Floyd 50th Anniversary contest they were running or was this just for fun?
-
Merry Christmas to you too, Gerald!
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Looks like the final bid is in at around $480,085. I certainly hope that they have a good use for it, because if the winner was buying it intending to part it out, I think they are going to lose out on this transaction.
