This may be a dumb question but, has anyone ever complained to NVIDIA about this?

I really hate those black CPs... you can't tell what's selected! My Dell notebook has an NVIDIA (see signiture for graphics card model) and I still get the the black CPs. I've tried every driver I can find but no joy.

Hmmm... My 9800 pro was pci. I'm not sure what a good AGP card would be.
I bought my mother board for the PCI Express slot. My original 6800 GeForce was PCI Express.

I am not sure that can be taking away from Obama since he was the first to suggest those changes, as people see it, that Bush has been implementing of What Obama has propose to take it away from him and make it there own. Obama was the one that first propose these changes of a deadline withdrawals.
If we would have listened to Obama and pulled out immediately....wait is he still for that? I keep up with his changes. No I think he changed that when he saw that the surge was working. Well anyway, if we'd have listened to his original idea, after we went in, Iraq would be a mess and the Dems would have had the lose they were hoping for. Thankfully, Bush did not listen and we have basically won.
As for the 50+ states dont forget those pesky territorial states, The United States possesses five major territories with indigenous populations: Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands in the Caribbean; and American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands in the Pacific. Those born in the territories (except for American Samoa) possess U.S. citizenship. Which means the rights to vote for any US citizenship regardless if your in the 50 states.
You know it's funny but when I've watched Presidential elections (and I've seen a few), I've never heard the call out for Puerto Rico or Guam when they were tallying the votes. To justify Obama's dumb gaffe by suggesting he's adding Puerto Rico and Guam is quite a stretch to say the least LOL.
McCain is much like Bush in a way that they both are malleable as far as being told what to do by the corporates. They both graduated from the bottom of the class and high favoritism in the military. McCain got his nickname "Maverick" in the military for crashing the planes repeatedly, and was consider dubious that he was even given a plane with his low score and blunders. But same could be said for drunken Pappy Boyington, but Pappy never ran for president.

As for the best man to run for president? first we need to own the media and maybe get a fair chance to actually pick what the people want and not what distortion we are given to decide with. Read 2 books for and against the candidate for each party is about the best we can decide with. Throw away the TV!
I don't know how we could own the media but I agree that it's not objective.

Seriously though, I don't think the majority of voters actually make an effort to look into anything. If the commercials say Obama is responsible for high gas prices then it must be true. If a book says Obama is a radical extremist muslim then it must be true.
The exact same argument can be said for politician who claim that they are going to provide good healthcare for all or that they're going to just raise the taxes of the rich.
Any informed person knows that trying to provide healthcare for everyone (including the millions of illegal alliens - we can't forget them) is living in a dream world. Unfortunately the same voters you speak of buy into this BULL.
Obama's a socialist and the fact that he's using his power to try to stifle free speech should be worrysome to everyone.

Hi all,
As I just informed Martin, my video card gave out on me last night
I'm in the process of picking a new one. I had an ATI 9800 Pro (Radeon). I want to get the latest Geforce. I had a Geforce 8600 and loved it until it died and I had to put my old one back in. I had planned on updating sooner but the radeon has been working good enough...until now.
I use WinXP Pro. What card would you guys recommend that's best compatible with A:M. It has to have at least 256meg on board. I'm going to look for a card that has as much ram on board that I can afford. My brother has a card with 512 but he told me his is old.
Does GeForce still cause the black control points?

Sounds like a cool project. post a mov when you're done.
Martin's right you should rig the groups with bones control the rotation and dispersion. If you assign a different bone for each proton and neutron, and make them children of a main controlling bone, you can then control each of the protons and neutrons individually to animate the alpha particles (alpha particles? too deep for me to understand LOL).

Ya just know that if the Obamas owned a bunch of houses that were "hers" on paper and not quite "theirs" the news channels would be all over that with things like
-is it a tax dodge? An unfair tax shelter the average citizen doesn't have access to?
-Why dont' they have a real Christian marrriage where they share everything? Do loving couples keep things from each other?
-Does the separate property mean she's a secret lesbian?
-Why can't he be trusted to have the property in his name also?
-Doesn't the muslim faith forbid such things?!?
-What are the secret clauses in their pre-nup agreement? Why haven't those been made public?
-Are those houses wasting energy while they aren't occupied?

But all the McCains get is a few days as a late-night joke.
Considering that the mainstream media (NBC, CBS, ABC) and MSNBC AND CNN are basically cheering for Obama, I'd have to disagree. The only news channel I see that would report a story like that would be FOX news. The rest would report it but not make a big deal about it IMO.
Wait....I don't think MSNBC would even report it LOL.

I have to disagree. I think THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES needs to BE AWARE of things like this. John McCain should know EXACTLY how many properties he has.
OK John McCain didn't know how many houses he owns. Vern feels this is important. But what about this:

I'm also thinking that the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES should know how many states there are in the USA (NO OBAMA!! It is NOT 59 LOL it's 50). Maybe if Obama showed more respect to the flag and counted the stars, he'd have known that hehe. Some of you may say he says 57 but he then adds that he hasn't been to Alaska or Hawaii bringing his total states to 59.

Hi Gene,
The thing about A:M is the vast versatility of it. You have at your finger tips a massive program that covers so many different applications, it's amazing.
When I first started using A:M my focus was on modeling (I do more animation work now). I do 3D mechanical modeling at work using my company's software (Autodesk Inventor) so when I bought A:M for my personal use, I had already had experience with forming 3D shapes to create 3D objects. That's the key in my opinion to 3D modeling; Think of creating three dimensional shapes and sculpting out (through spline manipulation) your idea. Learning about using rotoscoping will help out immensely with modeling.
The single most important learning curve to modeling (besides an artistic eye which you obviously have) is creating smooth meshes.
Once you fully understand the principals behind splines and the awesome array of tools and methods A:M offers to create and manipulate them, then it's just a matter of thinking about what you want to make.
Go through TaoA:M and if you're having trouble check out the excellent tutorials by Holmes Bryant and others and if you having a specific problem that you can't find the answer to, just post it and we'll do our best to help you out.

From what I can see of the animation, it's pretty good but the resolution makes it hard to tell.
I think the dialogue is kinda funny. I don't see the big deal about McCain not knowing how many houses he owns actually. He married a very rich woman. I'm betting his wife's the one who probably purchased them but I could be wrong.
I see the animation portraying McCain as a doddering absent minded old guy. If this was the intention, it's spot on.
I sent an email to Bruce to see if he'd let me get a copy of his Obama model. I want to counter this animation with one about Obama. I promise it will not be bad and it will be quick (I do have SO animation to finish too).

When I render anything I get an additional file with ".sinfo" on the end.
What are these files, what do you open them with and do you need to keep them?
It's funny you mention this because I've had an additional problem. When I tried to render to a Jpg format, all I got was a single file that had a ".jpg.sinfo extention. I thought somehow AM created the extra extention and all I needed to do was delete the added extension but when I made it a jpg and tried to open it, I got an error saying it wasn't an actual jpg.
I had to render a few times to get an actual jpg. It hasn't happend to me a lot but at least 2 times now.

Quite frankly Fox news is the LAST place I go for anything. Those guys are so biased it's unreal.
Actually Vern, (no offense) but from what I've seen from CNN, MSNBC, ABC and CBS's coverage compared to FOXNEWS, I'll take Fox news.
I'm a traditionalist, Independent conservative that leans right and prays to God Obama loses.
I know you said not to focus on just one point but character means a lot to me. One important point I vehemently disagree with Barrack: Any person that can justify letting babies die alone in a soiled utility rooms by voting "against saving babies of botched late term abortions just to protect pro-choice has a serious moral flaw to me.
This to me is a big story and Fox news has been the only one to give it the attention it deserves. This one issue alone is very telling of Obama. Everyone should know about it and decide for themselves if it effects their judgment. Fox news does cover big stories like this and lets us decide.
And if you want to talk about biased, the mainstream media (NBC, ABC and CBS) are ALL leftwing biased (Add MSNBC and CNN to that mix as well).

OK these last 2 weeks have not been good for me but I did manage to get some of the lipsync done for my shot.
Truthfully I cannot see how Ken H. can animate at the speed he does. I'm still working on lipsync. I have about 8 lipsync lines to do (and some are pretty long cuts). I haven't gotten to the actual poses and camera set up yet which I have to change because of having to match Ken's previous shot. Where his last position is for Bill, Trot and the Ork, they threw off all the camera positions that were set up.

Obama’s choice will be analyzed in the context of why he did or did not pick the person with a huge number of primary votes. Obama has no choice but to work with her.
Yes, the incident happened more than a decade ago but anytime the Clintons are in a discussion, rightly or wrongly, the intern is a subtext. How many times was Chelsea asked about Monica during the primary? Nobody but Obama knows what issue drove his VP choice. Clinton will always be tied to Lewinski, wishing otherwise is to deny reality.

The majority of FOX coverage I've seen speculates Tim Kaine and Joe Biden most likely veep pics.
From what I've read, Tim Kaine has just as little experience as Obama. What a great pair they'd make.

I ran into another issue while working with Trot. Maybe it's not an issue but it sure is a pain and I'm hoping can be fixed.

As much as I dislike Obama's political views, I have to say I find this animation very distasteful and seeing the President of the United States booted out screaming is also very disrespectful to the office IMO.
I just wish we could be more respectful in this area. We have enough satirical situations we can draw from without being totally disrespectful to the highest office. Again, IMO.

Do nothing and Actions are already embedded. If you've already done a "Save As" (which links them), then simply crack open the Action then crack open the "File Info" and set "Embedded" to "ON."
I kind of thought this was not the way hehe. So you know, I didn't do it.

Actually I don't have my 6800 anymore. I was just asking if anyone was still getting the black CP's because I need to buy a new one and want to go with Nvidia but not if the black CP's are still there.
