  1. I tried all kinds of fancy stuff. But then I noticed the way the models were constructed for Ratatouille. Just simple, dark lines for eye lashes and eyebrows. Looks great, renders fast.
  2. I too begged Anzovin to continue TSM2. In return they sent me a version that worked with A:M v13. I never tried using it with A:M 15 tho. I did some great character animation with TSM2. Rigging is a breeze and the results are great. I only wish such a tool could become common practice in all 3D applications.
  3. I'm going for dynamic bones. That seems to work just fine. Much easier to tweak. Stiffness 2%, drag 50%. A lot of bones, yes, but no problem for A:M.
  4. Thanks a lot all, for thinking with me. I think I will have to animate the curtain by hand though. I'll give that a try and see if that has better results sooner.
  5. Thanks! I'm planning on doing just that if cloth turns out to be impossible. However, I allways found ways to go around cloth simulation. This time I want to actually use it for once. I'm sure the right settings can be made, can't they..?
  6. Hi, I'm working on a theatre set. The red curtains open. The curtains are animated using cloth simulation in A:M 13. I almost got it nailed, but not entirely. So much parameters, I'm tweaking my ass off. Each time I have to tweak, simulate, tweak, simulate... Is there anybody who knows how to make these curtains move like the real thing? I'll post my curtain-project. It has the animated curtain. Just run the cloth simulation in the chor and see how far I got it. Never mind the missing decals. Please help me make this work. Thanks! 7. They decided to discontinue devellopment of TSM2 for A:M. They may still be useful to customers with older A:M versions (v11, v12, and some builds of v13). But does anybody know which exact version 13 works with TSM2? And is it possible to downgrade to that version? Where can I get older A:M versions, if needed?
  8. There is definitely more than one way to solve this problem. I'll be looking into all your ideas and when I finally manage to create decent looking water I'll tell you how.
  9. Hi! Can somebody help me out? I need to create a fountain of water. More like water from a garden hose. It has to be very realistic looking. Can this be done in A:M? Do you have a suggestion? Thanks! Erik
  10. Hi, I wouldn't know where to post this topic best, but I hope this is okay. I'd like to meet fellow A:M artists in the Netherlands. It don't matter if you're a beginner or a pro, please get in contact with me. I got some films to do and maybe you can help me out. If you like. Just send me a mail! Kind regards, ik hoop van je te horen, Erik www.erikvanschaaik.com
