  1. hey there, is there someone who has experience in importing poly objects in the newest version of A:M. I'm planing to do a short animation with a friend who's native in poly modeling. Can props be correctly importertet with decals or materials from another modellin tool? Are there screenshots of results out there? thank you so much for your support Pablo
  2. Hey, it looks good to me, but you use really too much patches, on the front I think it's ok, but try to reduce as much as possibel on the side. With so many patches it is nearly impossibel to have smooth surfaces, which I think is possible by building a car, keep it up!!
  3. hey jamagica! have you already tried to use the porcelain material?? if not here's a small tutorial http://server2.hostpoint.ch/~novamvia/pabl...rcelaintutorial jamagica
  4. man this model is really great...!!! Give her some designer clothes and make her ready for the A:M mascott 2005. I'm impressed
  5. hey man, this model is crazy, very nice! there is so much detail in it, my suggestion is to improve the background, to give him more detail, the texture of the ground looks very pc like, unrealistic I hope you're not angry, I played with your pic in photoshop and I think you can get more atmospaere out of it, I don't know if that what I have done is what you're looking for, but perhaps you understand what I mean and you're alittle inspired
  6. I think this is coming out really nice, do you already use the porcelain material, if not, here's a small tutorial http://server2.hostpoint.ch/~novamvia/pabl...rcelaintutorial
  7. hi HomeSlice I like your work alot! specially the modeling and texturing, but I think you could have done more with lighting and rendering, in my opinion it distroys alittle bit the beauty of the work, do you use any skydome or so?
  8. it's a nice model, but I think you should work more on the material, is it procedural, perhaps some decals, also bump spec map, but at all very nice!
  9. do you have already porcelain on it? http://server2.hostpoint.ch/~novamvia/pabl...rcelaintutorial
  10. Just playing around with an idea which I have in my head - WIP
  11. hey Harper57 this is a really good model, especially if it is your first one!! Have you already tried to apply the porcelain material from the hash cd?
  12. hey zacktaich, I'm really interested how your project comes along, strat was my first electrical guitar, I hope you will do a nice job, your mesh looks at the moment very good. I'm now playing a gibson sg
  13. hey modernhorse, I really think it comes quiete good, have you already tried to render it in toon style? I think that could work very good with your work, just an idea...
  14. I saw the movie just right now, and I'm really fascinated, this is really great stuff, I also like very much the lightening, I agree some details with the lip sinc are not perfect, but at all this is a masterpiece go on..!
  15. CRToonMike, thank you for your crits, I will think about it, but in general this is the style I reach for, now the body is mostly done, next step is to correct things and texture it. I took some models as references, this helped me much to work fast
