Yes, believe me, I thought about the time length of the clips / shots alot. I think that cartoons these days move way too fast in many cases, not allowing the audience to appreciate the moment. I'll bet in most cases it's due to making more time for commercials. My brother has mentioned as well that although he feels he's too old to watch cartoons (he's 45), he would'nt want to because the constant shot-changing would give him a migraine.I liked it a lot and felt very amused! What would make it even better (though shorter) in my opinion, when you cut the shots a lot faster together,
like its more what customers expect nowadays.
I know, and I tend to fall into that trap mself, that its quite hard to let loose of part of the footage, we so laboriusly have created.
You are one of the few here, that regularly get some of their creations finished and out.
That really counts a lot.

That was great fun!
I enjoyed that.
Thanks! It was alot of fun creating these. I'm currently working on more charecters for the next episode which include a psychotic, evil squirrel and her two henchmen.

Congratulations on the Premiere! What was the event that got 400 people in the same room?
Thanks alot! It was a variety show this weekend. Good turnout!

It made me feel like it was worth all the work. Please let me know what you folks think and oh yes, please leave a rating on Youtube if you can. Thats allways appreciated!

Wow! Lots of helpfull advise guys. It's very much appreciated. I did find a site that allows you to upload and share files and they take a 20% cut which is better than the privious 50% mentioned. It at Lulu.com I will be adding it ther soon and I'll keep you posted. If it does well, I think a few of you may do the same. It would be great to have more hash material available!

I think the collection looks great, Chuck! The price sounds reasonable. I think you should give it a shot.
Thanks for the encouragement. I will!

I always thought sales of A:M would skyrocket if we took a 'Poser-esque' approach... sell/include models of ...models! Hot young jettsetting couples complete with disrobing actions...flowing hair... runway/risque choreographies...
Theres no reason it could'nt be done- plus here's 2 things in your favor:
1- Poser sucks
2- A:M rocks.
Disrobing actions... Now theres an idea.

Nice looking stuff!
It probably costs nothing to set up an online store (or use some well-trafficked site like Turbosquid) so it won't hurt much to try, but I'd expect actual sales to be microscopic since any prop is a very specific thing and anyone's project is likewise specific so the chances of the two meshing is remote.
Hey, checked out Turbosquid. I think your right, It does seem to be a great place to try this! I'm going to set it up. I agree with what you say about a prop being a speciffic thing but I think if you sell them in sets for a reasonable price, you have much better odds. We'll see

Yeah...shipping a CD is so...2005.
Lol. I agree with you for something like this, as it's not alot of info on a disk comapered to full programs or a DVD. Still, I'm wondering if there's an actual audience for this sort of thing.

Do you have a vehicle in mind for doing the selling, like an e-commerce website?
I was considering either getting an account at one or shipping them on CD. Of course, pay per download would probably work best.

Hey folks, I've been thinking of trying to sell new models in a set. I'm working on one now which will be "Street Objects Set I" (See the attachment). I know many consider it taboo to try and sell models when so many are offered for free but everyone needs to make money. A set like the one shown would sell for about $12.95. Do you think it's a fair price? Honest opinions please!

Thanks Robcat. Thats very good info. I'll let you know what happens!

I'm lost when it comes to collisions and the like. What's the best way to simulate the effect of someone jumping around on a matress? Mainly, the indentations of the feet making contact on it. Thanks in advance.

She looks like a real nutcracker, alright!

Thanks for the comments all. Youtubed? Yes! As for what inspired me, well heres the whole boring strory. I was toying with some modeling on Thanksgiving when my sister came over. She started cooking dinner and said, "I hope I can get rid of the callories after today's dinner". Working on the donkey model at the time, I thought up the idea of him doing areobics. I thought it would be funny to add Richard Simmons voice to it, so I Googled "Richard Simmons Wav". I found the file with the added words "I'm a pony! I'm a pony!', etc and the rest just fell into place.
Also yes, I noticed that key frame missing. I need more practice!

Heres something I threw together while waiting for Thanksgiving dinner to cook. The voice is Eddie Murphy doing his impersonation of Richard Simmons. Sorry but I only have it in Windows Media format. You may recognise the donkey as the one from the Hash CD library. I upgraded him just a touch.

The entire audio mix and voices feels very professional, well done!
Wow! Thank you. That means alot comming from someone with your experience.
The backround music was ripped from a Carl Stalling CD. It's music from alot of the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.

I think her voice works. You also want the voice to fit her personality, have you thought of a bio?
Yes, I have her charecter pretty well figured out. I've been drawing comics featuring her for almost ten years. Heres a quick rundown: She goes by the name Super Mega Fox (SMF). She's a crime fighting fox. Thanks to her friend Dr. Lowenklein, she has the ability to increase her size. An unexpected side effect is that when she grows, her I.Q. drops, thus she becomes a bit of a bubble head. She also has increadible luck on her side.
Her arch enemy is a crazed female squirrel known as Power Mad Squirrel (PMS).

What codec are you using? It would not let me view it.
Wade
It opens with Windows Media Player. I need to reinstall Quicktime to convert it. Sadly Flash files arent accepted here.

The fox is voiced by a friend and believe it or not, thats her natural voice. Do you think it fits the charecter? Also, thats me doing the awfull accent of the professor.

Count Draggula, that is. He's a new charecter that I will feature in the next Super Mega Fox cartoon. I don't want to reveil too much but let's just say his name says alot about him.
