  1. Apologies for being a pest but the Sept. 5 video doesn't cover how to find & install the TSM2 plugin. Where do I find it?
  2. Nevermind! I'm watching the Sept.5 video about it. Thanks for all the help, much appreciated.
  3. Thanks for the help robcat & Ganthofer, got v15 working now. Is the TSM2 plugin something I need to install?
  4. Copied the AMCD.exe for v.15 to my desktop but it wants the CD in the drive to operate. Is there a serial number I can get or something? How do I get this installed? Any help appreciated.
  5. Sorry about the lapse in communication my internet's been down for 2 days. Thanks for the responses guys I will try these things. I'm using Windows 10 currently.
  6. Thought i was home free. clicked on the v15 folder and tried opening the AMCD.exe and only the MSN website comes up. WTF??? What am I doing wrong??
  7. It WORKED! Thank you Glen!
  8. clicking on the Support button brings up a message re opening Microsoft Edge and trying to click on the FTP site from Edge brings up a blank page. How does one reach the AM FTP site??
  9. Ok I'm asking. Can't reach the FTP site to get v15 and the TSM2 plugin. What am I doing wrong?
  10. Will remember that for any future uploads. thanks
  11. for some reason it's not showing the whole clip. I'll have to reupload it I guess.
  12. Could only find "upload images" so I'll post it here and please let me know the proper way to do this and if you can play this video. VLC was used to convert it. This particular video had a lot of help from robcat (the glowing threads) DWfinalTitleC.mp4
  13. Understood, I have to redo the rig from scratch using this TSM2 and version 15 if I remember right. You also used an "auto assign" at one point I think that made things quicker and that's why I could use the video of that LAT to study more closely but I don't think it's available yet. I'll keep checking to see when it is. thanks for responding robcat.
  14. Is this just on my machine er whut? Please try to rotate the Lbicep bone in the Smartskin window, either with the manipulator or scrubbing the Y axis in the PWS. On my machine it goes WACKO rotating spastically in large increments and the bone is way off. Even tried saving the model to disk & importing it into a new Prj. but no difference. Recently had similart problems but was resolved with AVG anti virus but it's not working now, so any help appreciated. SuitCoat3.prj
  15. Sorry, meant to ask if anyone has suggestions about bone heirarchy to avoid shrinkage when the arm is raised straight up. This setup follows Mike Fitzgerald's setup from his rigging DVD with officer McKnuckles.
  16. Made 2 seperate smartskins for bicep & forearm and driving them both with ArmsShoulders pose & making some progress. Not sure if that's the correct way to set that up but so far so good. See attached Prj. SuitCoat3.prj
  17. Smartskin is good just exploring relationships, as the manual makes the point several times that they can do all the things that smartskin can do. thanks for the help.
  18. Yes I know how pose sliders work (& they're cool) but I meant creating a pose with keyframes of skin at different angles of a bone rotation (like Smartskin) so that you can move the arms around freely and have the skin moving as wanted (like wrinkle in cloth) and NOT using a pose slider. I know smartsking can do this but I'm just exploring other avenues. Is this making any sense? Sorry if it isn't but not sure how else to explain it.
  19. How do you set up keyframes for muscle/skin in a Pose as opposed to Smartskin? Been trying but can't get it to work. I thought Pose was able to do this but don't remember how to set it up. Is this something that has to be done in an Action? Been looking in the manual but can't find instructions for a dumb-ass, you know "Do this and then do that." details. thanks in advance.
  20. Sounds good - talk to you then and thanks.
  21. Guess I was trying to get more realism in the folds of the armpit and elbows but when I model the folds realistically it turns into an un manageable mess with millions of CPs. I even had to make a set of bones for the front and back since they behave differently. Adjusting them so they look good with arms lowered but don't look good being raised or from top view rotating forward/backward. Just couldn't get it to work. That's why was hoping to find some tutes to get better with Pose (adding frames & keyframing) or Smartskin. For example-can Smartskin handle all the CPs when rotating the arm at ALL angles or just one axis? And can you view CP keyframing in the timeline? Can't seem to find these answers in the manual (or just don't know where to look) Anyways thanks for responding robcat, madfox.
  22. Thanks for the responses. Can't make it to LAT tomorrow, will have to wait until next week.
  23. Been struggling with this for years (not an exaggeration) and using Mike Fitzgeralds rigging CD but wondering if anyone has made a more recent tutorial for this? Attached is one I'm trying to rig for a suit coat and the funky way it folds in the shoulder but can't get it dialed in. Even shldrs I rigged in my robot movie never looked good so hoping somebody has made some more recent tutes on this. Any help appreciated. SuitCoat.prj
  24. See attached. All settings reset and perspective is OFF. Ok now for some reason I cannot attach a jpg, is there something funky going on with
