well im having a problem with the 5 point patches. I got it to do 2 5-point patches but I cant get it to do it again! Help! Heres a picture. You'll notice the 5 point patch icon wont let me click on it! Whats up with that?!

I think I would get this. But the problem is Im having a hard time figuring out what a 5 point patch IS! I whent to Arm and read that tutorial but it didnt help. Maybe you guys could fill me in please! Thanks for the help nerazzi and Ross!

OK I know that I post a lot of stuff but I want to post this. Its a torsoe and the blue on it isnt a texture...Its lighting! Its so kool! Anyways, I this is a torsoe that I have for a semi-realistic character. I dont want the body to be exact I want it to be fairly realistic with some cartoonish about it, but still noiticable that its a human type figure. Please give me some imput. one thing dont get mad at other peoples post! They are just trying to help. The model will look kool just take out the big square looking thing where the forehead and eyes are at. IF you do that and add some cirlce where the eyes are you will have a good model. keep it up. oh and please dont get mad, we are just trying to help!

ok what do you mean by segmented tail? The ears I'll change and the muzzle. I will have make a sperate model for the ears and attach it, but Ill do it. Thanks for the help!

OK well heres an update. I tried adding an antenna tail but it just didnt look right, so I added this instead. Tell me what you think.

Well here is the robotic dog with partial textures. Im going to add a bumber sticker on his back saying something like: "Been to mars and there nothing there!" or "Been to mars and back!". I decided to get rid of the eye thing and make it look more like the sony robotic dog. Theres more suprises for ya! Its not just a Robotic dog! Haha Suspence!

OK well here is my robotic dog. I need help! I need to know which version is better! After thats done I will texure and stuff! The ball obove his head is where his eye will be.

Here is an update! well the back of the body isnt finished. I know this isnt a good idea but well i cant seem to do the back of the head and until I can the back of the character wont get finished! The shirt color is just for this forum. But please tell me what you think!

Well since ALL my files got deleted I had to start from scratch. Well heres the face I just started today. The white stuff by the mouth arn't teeth. It can be if you guys think it should be. Now I cant seem to get the back of the head done. Its hard! Well tell me what you think, and if you want help me out!

I would like to thank everyone for helping me saddly I formated my drives. I thought that I saved my files but it seems I didnt. All my characters and animation files were lost. The good thing about it is that I can focus on modeling so I can create a character. The bad part is I dont have any pictures of my characters. Oh well!

hahah thats funny. All my characters are one eyed. I think i have two (one of them my avatar) with two eyes. I find one eyed characters easier to animate and they give it some personality!

OK well heres my FIRST EVER EXTRUDED MODEL! Ok here are two pictures. the first non wire framed picture has a different head shape then the wired frame, because I tried something. Well I want to create the rest of the neck and the back of the head. Can somone help me?

I love those characters epecially the security robot that is on one wheel. Some of the models are very simple (which i like to do, mostly because I cant do extruded models) I guess i did inspire you as you said in one of my posts. Keep it up yo!
