  1. Hello, That's it !! I finally bought AM 2021, for 1 year. If in a year I am still going, I will buy the CD version! I thought about it a lot because my main problem is the rendering speed which is not in current standards. As soon as several "complex" parameters are used, the calculation times become disproportionate It is still possible to render with another software like Blender but I don't want to switch from one software to another as needed! When I will test the export plugin to blender I am amazed that the extrusion extrudes all the points, even those "inside" the object !? Is there a specific procedure to have only the "outer points" extruded? I have lots of questions coming up because I want to understand the philosophy of using AM! It is very interesting compared to 3D "factories" that are 3DS MAX or blender. On the other hand there are some functions that are missing when you are used to polygonal 3D. If my teaching work leaves me the time, I think of frequenting the forum and creating videos (tutorials) to assimilate the functioning and promote AM in France. Besides ... are there any French users who frequent this forum ?? I will be delighted to meet you! see you soon Best regards
  2. hello, do you have an example of the same scene calculated with AM and blender and the corresponding times? Thanks
  3. Hello, I am a " former( older ? )" (15 years) French user of AM. I followed the evolution of other interesting 3D software (3dsmax, carrara, blender, ...). Blender is becoming a major player in the 3D world, but I remember that Animation Master had great potential a few years ago. Its only major weakness was the slowness of its rendering. When we see the new rendering engines such as Arnold, octane, cycles, eevee, and many others! has it adapted to this development? I plan to reuse this software that I like by its very logical structure but with its protection system by machine key, I cannot test the trial version (windows problem?) Do you have opinions, advice or reflections on this subject? thank you in advance teo ( olivier turbet ) Art / Motion Designer
