  1. I really like this "showdown" looking image. Would be interesting to see how this skinny little girl handles this hulking beast.
  2. I will post a wire frame when I get a chance Darklimit. I started rigging him (I like to see how my mesh works before I tweek it much) and his wings are horrible. I will be re-modeling the wings soon. Kricket, I am not sure if he needs to be taller. I was wondering if he was wide enough actually. But I will take a closer look. Thanks for the comments!
  3. ...and here is a full body shot. It still needs alot of tweaking too. One thing that really bugs me is that the webbing of his wings doesn't cast shadows. They have no thickness(just flat patches) so I guess this is why. I suppose I will have to give them another side.
  4. Here is an updated shot of his face. I tried to make his features more pronounced. I took out the eye glow because it was washing out some of his shape. I ran an extra spline along his jaw line to give it more of an edge but from this render I see that where I hooked it in doesn't look so great. I will continue tweaking but let me know what you think. Does he still need to look more chiseled?
  5. Awesome! I can't believe you can get such great textures purely from procedurals. I don't think I would ever have that much patience.
  6. I really like the head on this merman. The gills on the look great and I love that nose (or should I say nostrils?) Keep up the good work, I think this will be a great character.
  7. What's this mirror splines plug in you mentioned? Nice models by the way. I love the heroes.
  8. Thanks for the advice Kricket and Zaryin. I will see what I can do to make him look a bit more chiseled. I started on his body and the wings are proving more challenging than I expected. So, does anyone have any advice on how I can rig his eyes?
  9. I think the image looks great over all. The moon does seem a bit distracting but I think it because it looks too flat. It seems more like a disc than a sphere. Just my little nitpicky 2 cents.
  10. Thanks Darklimit. Gargoyles is the best cartoon of all time in my book. I have a little problem with this model if anyone has any suggestions. I couldn't make spheres work for his eyeballs so I don't know how I can make his iris work. That's why I made his eyes glow in this render rather than putting in his iris. Right now his eyeball a very oblate sphere and I had to tilt it too.
  11. Here is my attempt at creating a model of Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles.I just have his head so far. I hope to get the rest of him modeled this weekend. C&C welcomed and appreciated.
  12. Hi, cute little character there. Only crit I have is the "edge" of the hair on his face seems way too clean and distinct. Other than that he looks great!
  13. That deman looks pretty sweet and so does the elf. I have to say I think the elf looks better without the toon render though. The toon render looks great on the demon but some of the lines on the elf just don't look right to me. Especially her, um, chest.
