  1. Very nice designs, very nice modeling, looks like a fun project!

Seems there are more and more interesting projects like yours and like largentos for instance and some other people

pouring out lately, that cover not just one aspect of AM like modeling but are real small animation-projects.

    Very encouraging.

You can use this peacemaker of mine, if you like.

    Thank you for the gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. As a professional editorial cartoonist I did great, but always in the back of my mind I wanted to bring my creations to life.

I never had the time nor money for the years of college for training, I got Animation:Master and I haven't had so much

fun since the hogs ate my sister! (just kidding)

The A:M community is knowledgable and always ready to help you make that scene look just right!

    I say "Get it now!"

  3. hmmmm guess I dont know how to use a lit file

load it into your objects folder. It's just a light with lens flare on and tweaked a bit.

Thanks! I think I got it now!

It really helps the scene alot!

  4. The Sun wouldn't have any part of it shaded or in shadow. The sun is light and nothing else. You'd have to set that sphere to 100% ambient intensity.

But why are you not using a lens flare?

    AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I will rework that scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    THANK YOU!

  5. I would make it a little lighter with a tint of orange. With lens flare it should look fine either way.

I couldn't seem to get the lens flare working

I turned it on but nothing.

but it came out good with the vulture being block out around the edges by the suns glow, so It worked good enough.

  6. a "lens flare" can make that fuzzy brightness around the sun. Do a search in the help for specifics.

yes I know about lens flares. but just put a light there? what kind so you see it good?

a sphere with a glow perhaps?

  7. I am sure there is a simple answer to this.

I need a shot of a desert sun as if someone were looking straight up at it.

so blue sky and sun only.

then I am going to animate circling buzzards.

Any suggestions on a good sun please?
