  2. done in 10.5 leaves are a:m hair, stucure is plugin output.
  3. hey this looks nice! sorry to hear, the concept got flushed.
  4. the front view looks good, but the 3/4 view shows mistakes: directly next to the eyes there shouldnt be as much of a ridge. in the 3/4 view, the eyes edge should have a very thin border to the background. the cheeckbones need to move forward and outwards. the cheeck should move in a bit. check these shots for refrence: http://www.stephena.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/scans/ncamp.jpg http://media.supereva.it/bellevip/celeb/Na...ll/fash4993.jpg http://island.site.ne.jp/mjfox/filmo/image/n_campbell.jpg http://www.123.com/sp/entretenimiento/sect...d_content=88935 take note of the profile on the turned away side of the face. along the lid it moves in towards the eyes edge, then out for the cheekbone, then slightly in for the cheeck again and out for the chin. (your profile moves out at the eye, slightly in at the cheekbone and then straight to the chin) nice splineage! EDIT: huh! didnt see there was a 2nd page to the wip .. looking a lot better already, but the problem i mentioned above is still there (though not visible as stongly because her ear adds to the profile)

  6. mega, the waterSurf plugin is currently idling 1. due to my tight schedule. 2. because the water sequence was taken out from this animation but i will finish the plugin soon. it will be released as a part of the resurfacing pack (conform). after that i'll go to the "water" plugin project (dont hold your breath though, this may take a long time to finish).
  7. thanks people jim> you can imagine how dizzy _I_ am, the hula sequence had me hypnotized for a whole day until my gf woke me up mega> it was actually done pretty quickly due to a vary simple character rig. the more challenging part was taken out to improve the overall flow (the character should jump into the water [for this part i actually developed my waterSurf plugin]) - ah well maybe next time mike> yes this company is in austria like i am, i find it difficult to get clients outside of austria, even though i never me this particular client in person either. just mails with the event agency.

    good job! maybe lighten up the blue a bit or give it and the black different specularity properties. on my monitor settings its all almost black. the face could also be a bit more defined, but thats just personal taste. zack> what do you mean? he did model all details as far as i can see. any detail smaller than the one he's modeled would be better done with decals.
  10. dont solve this problem the poly way. lose the spline that runs down from the top, then you got a 5-cp-hole. select all cps and make it a 5pt patch. one remark: for the detail you are currently showing, you could have built this boot with considerably less patches which will pay off later at rendering time.

    i liked the lips better before .. the section where her arms meet her breasts is off .. you should be able to find enough reference online, but here are 2 to show what i mean: (obviously: the pages contain nudity!) http://www.domai.com/pics/big/katy-may138.jpg http://www.domai.com/pics/big/gigi301b.jpg one more thing to the head texture that i've just noticed: how about letting the dots get smaller down the cheeks instead of fading them out? you could use a technique similar to the one described in http://www.kci-group.com/z/gradientz-tut.htm the rest is very nice and showcases some cool new ideas!
  12. 700 is a very low number and sounds like you'll get in serious trouble while animating. it depends on your splineage though. if you'd post a wireframe we could help you with that.
  13. heh! cool fly! how about dynamic constraints for the leg bones?
  14. beautifully tight splineage, but facial animation will be quite restricted due to that. though i think it would fit the character. also very nice idea for the eyes! they will certainly look great when animated! i'm also looking forwar to seeing the place where she lives (i guess red foliage, a hash-cyan sky and huge airborne carnivores)
