This leapin' lobster pup demonstrates TSM2's great tail lag feature in the tail and antenae secondary movement. Manual animation of these was minimal. The body is controlled by one bone, and each leg was animated with only the foot control.

Rigging took one evening, and has held up well to all types of movement. For the body I used one body segment with four leg pairs and a 6-segment tail. Then I added an arm pair and two extra tails (antenae) with "parts builder".

There are a couple of render glitches, causing a bit of skipping (one 10 frame section toward the end wouldn't render). And, I had hoped to clean it up and add more claw animation toward the end but just ran out of time. But it was great fun to work with this rig.

Your lobster animation is very good and the movements are fine and fluid.

Good luck in this contest.
