zandoriastudios Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 I want to use the TSM to rig my Balrog model, but in reading the documentation I see that my Arms have to be in a T-pose. Is there away around that?Or will I be rigging from scratch Quote
JackMcRip Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 because the direction (and rotation) of the setupmachine skeleton bones are very important, i think there is no other way to make the rigg with TSM. When you change the pose, the directions (and rotation) of the bones change, too. I think it's the only way! I'm being ready to see first animation of Balrog. The Model is a great work !!! Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted June 24, 2004 Hash Fellow Posted June 24, 2004 (edited) Since he's got such a bent over posture, how about rigging him with the quadraped bones? I know it doesn't have fingers but maybe you could graft those on after the fact? Second thought... would it not be practical to deform that mesh into the upright T pose? Great model BTW! Raf Anzovin Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 Hey, sorry it took me a while to get back to you about this. The TSM doesn't require you to have your character in a T pose, that's just kind of traditional. --Raf Quote
zandoriastudios Posted July 2, 2004 Author Posted July 2, 2004 Ah! thanks for clearing that up! Quote
