adamjames
This is a head I'm hoping to use for an animation project. Still early days...

adamjames
My aim now is to clean her up, get some textures sorted out for her and give her hair. Then on to the body...then rigging.
SteelShark
I almost gagged when I saw the amunt of splines. Is this an import? You might want to think about pruning her down (spline wise). Otherwise, animating will not be fun...
ragtag
If you plan to animate this, you need to reduce the number of patches to about 1/4th of what you have there or less. Otherwise you'll spend the next year just doing the facial expressions. Also, all those triangular patches are likely to cause trouble. If I had that model, I would lock all the CPs, and model a new head around it using as few patches as I could get away with. Besides that, the model itself looks good. I agree with ragtag. It'd probably just be easier to lock the cp's and use this head as a basis for your low(er) patch version. -Andrew
adamjames
Thanks, guys. Looks like it's back to the drawing board (literally). I don't want to cause myself future problems, so I shall have to remodel. Adam
