Hi ...

Since this is a professional illustration, I would try something photo realistic ...

Forget the property toon, and work more the illumination and the reflection.

This backdrop is very good, I liked!!

keep the good job

cheers

This looks like the tip of an electric fencing foil to me (I'm quite an avid fencer).

I would agree with Xtaz.....forget toon and go for relaism.

I work for a hospital equipment planning company (for now) and am constantly looking at medical supplies. Most of the time they have a simliar layout.

I'd like to see it rendered on a flat relfective surface without the background material, which may also lower your render time. You can apply the logo flat-on with photoshop.

Maybe do a radiosity render with a high d.o.f.

Good start none the less.

AdamJames- Yes it is. It's the new LeonPaul GTFoilPoint. and the illustration will go on advertising material. I got this job because they saw this stuff on the web -

all illustrations were done in AM

Zacktaitch it was meanr to be transparent plastic, but I think you are right

mootsger I assume you mean like a plain sheet. I will try that

XTaz, I will try for more reflection in the stainless steel and add some grunge.

If anyone is interested I will post the lighting setup.

Thanks all for the advice
