Tom Posted November 23 Posted November 23 Hello All- I see that Microsoft is abandoning Windows 10 security updates on October 2025 and I wanted to ask any Windows 11 users if they have had any problems running Animation Master in Windows 11? Thanks for any info, Tom Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 25 Hash Fellow Posted November 25 Windows 11 should not be a problem. Several people I know are using it already without A:M incident and Steffen tests A:M on it after each new build. I suspect he's on Win 11 already and MS Visual Studio should be producing proper code for it. But I'm still on Windows 10 myself. My Cintiq won't have a driver for Windows 11. That may be your bigger consideration... whether you have old devices that aren't getting updated drivers for Windows 11. Microsoft is said to be offering three years of continued maintenance for Windows 10 at $30/year. I might do that if i don't replace the Cintiq. Quote
Tom Posted November 25 Author Posted November 25 Thanks for the info. I think $30 a year might be a good investment also... Quote

For me I am considering something like that because of my VR headsets. Windows 11 gets rid of Mixed Reality Portal and do not have any option to reinstall it afterwards as it seems.
