HR Puff n Stuff (Land of the Lost, too, come to think of it) was a bit before my time, but I caught Land of the Lost in reruns in the mid 80s on the local Fox affiliate. There were some other shows in the 80s that I think may have taken some inspiration from the Sid & Marty Kroft stuff...Great Space Coaster comes to mind.
