Working on a gadget that offsets the weight and transfers the force to the root. So my thought is to make a sweep like this wire sample with bones as shown then see if it reacts like the real world object. This would save me time and give me options to fiddle fart with proportions and offsets etc.

If you bend a wire as shown you will see how it can hang straight out, more force the more stable it becomes. Something used in rigging when lifting objects up buildings.
