Yes it does. Gives a sense that a story is about to unfold. ;)

Someone surely is up to no good in the basement of that house on the left.

And the guy in the car behind the tree on the far right has been there all night.

 

I am resisting the urge to animate something moving down those tracks...

I couldn't resist making an attempt to add something to the scene.

 

I just eyeballed a path and threw a couple proxy boxes in place but it was enough to satisfy my initial curiosity.

A better approach would be to use projection but it seems to work as is.

I do see that the path in the distance is just a little bit too far to the right.

There should probably be some ease as well to make the 'train' appear to cushion (slow) when in the distance and speed up when close.

 

If we can think of something mysterious enough to replace the proxy 'train' with I might give that a shot.

Added an attempt to make it more of a 'ghost train' by having it fade in and fade out...

 

We need to find a way to mess with your brother by setting up a webpage for him to view where he thinks he's watching his normal website but is really watching something spooky. ;)
