I have a question how can I get my right arm and right leg to move independently from from my left arm and right leg? Here is a what I am talking about.

Here is an embedded project for you kind folks. I have another question how can I add color to the old chap? Thank you.

The basic problem is you don't have the hierarchy right.

Notice how making the leg bones children of the Pelvis bone made them work right?

Now do the same thing to make the pelvis a child of the Root Null.

And make the torso bone a child of the Root Null also.

I will almost guarantee you there is a screen shot or some text in that book that puts that across. :)

The bone at the bottom, I'm not sure of the purpose, I haven't read the book in a long time.

That's progress! :)

I don't recall if David's book recommends having toe/feet bones (in addition to the basic legs you are showing) but that can certainly help with finer control of the flour sack's performances.

Aside: Getting those hypercam recordings going is a great move that will serve you well. It's so much easier to see what someone is experiencing.

And not only that... it provides a great source for documenting your progress.

Keep those and someday you (or those interested in your work) will look back on them fondly and marvel at the process.
