Wow. Looks great.

 

It's interesting to see all these companies opening up to the lower end of the consumer level.

 

I see the direct link to the download is:

Note that (as far as I can tell) you'll need Photoshop to use DDO:

 

DDO is compatible with Photoshop CS3, CS4, CS5, CS6, CC and up, Extended and Standard editions, and runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8.

Yes and obviously you need enough RAM

On my i5 with 4 Gig i cant get it running without crashing.

Attempting to get something going with it now.

 

It's important to start with something *before* invoking dDo (mesh, specific layers, etc.)

On my i5 with 4 Gig i cant get it running without crashing.

 

I get a problem with low memory as well although for a moment it looked like it was going to be successful with the initial bake.

How much RAM do you have?

 

Its basically flat colored groups on the obj mesh that you can easily advise preset or selfadjusted elaborate materials to.

If the computer is enough , it makes texturising that way almost interactive and great fun.

Windows takes almost 1 gig so photoshop and dDo have to share the rest somehow.

I reduced the RAM for photoshop to 1.5 , but nevertheless since dDo uses gigantic

Photoshopfiles there is a bottleneck somehow sooner or later leading to a crash on

my computer.

I guess i would work with 8 Gig , but maybe somebody can confirm it?
