NancyGormezano
Fun creative concept ...but there is no way this is true as stated: His latest, SCREENGRAB, was made without the help of computer effects though I can’t quite figure out how You can't tell me there was no computer involved...minimally there was some creative editing on some computer. Nancy I agree with you, and the title would seem to suggest that. My guess would be that the emphasis is on 'Effects' ? The narrative could be readily done with still frames and a lot of careful planning. In the 70's the directors/musicians Godley and Creme did a series of TV adverts ( for pepe jeans ? ), which used a similar technique of filming it, holding a frame, printing that, then using it as the edit point for the next shot. That was a long time before CG become a reality. I think that was possibly the technique used for this , then edited together afterwards ? regards simon
