looking for a water drop tutorial

i have looked through the forum but did not find what i am looking for.

Has anybody done a water drop tutorial?

i need a drop that either splashes on the ground or in a puddle of water.

I know the Tinkering Gnome has examples of rain hitting the ground.

I'm guessing you need more close up effects than that?

 

Ben de Leeuw has a nice example of a fairly large splashing effect (w/ project file): HERE
