I installed V15J as standard from the CD on my Imac.

For some curious reason the help files did not seem to install at the same time ( this was some time ago I admit ).

In order to stop me asking my usual dumb questions, is there a way to install the help files after initial installation ?

I believe you download the masterchm from this ftp directory

 

ftp://ftp.hash.com/pub/docs/

 

 

 

unzip it and put it in your v15 folder. It looks not to have been updated since 2007 but most of it should be fine.

 

v17 has a new help scheme that lets you click on an item in the interface and get a blurb about it. Still being fleshed out.

Thank you for your reply and help. I tried the link but it asked me to log in to the FTP site. I tried my forum log but it declined that. DoI need to register elsewhere ?

I'm on Firefox. It comes up like any other web page for me, no sign-in needed. I guess you're on Safari? Maybe there's a setting to enable "anonymous ftp"?
