Pinballwzd Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Hey, I had to uninstall Animation Master on my Windows 7 64 bit PC. I went through the normal windows uninstaller and then downloaded the 64 bit web subscription version of AM to reinstall. I went through the re-install with no problems but when I went to register using my same registration # I got the following error. "Bad return data from webserver (no status) (-134) "No such file or directory (error:2)" Can anyone lead me in the right direction to what this means and what I can do to get my version registered ? I know my Registration # is valid as it worked for my initial install on the same PC. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum section and or if somewhere it has been answered before. I can supply whatever information you require... This is what the master file had to say... Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 21, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted October 21, 2011 I think what you needed to do was save the master0.lic file before you wiped out that last install. I hope you still have it somewhere. In the trash? Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 21, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted October 21, 2011 possibly this is a permissions thing? Did you install as Administrator? Quote
Pinballwzd Posted October 22, 2011 Author Posted October 22, 2011 Hello, Thank you for your ideas.. Turned out it was my antivirus , Avast. When I disabled it, the connection/registration worked. Cheers, Quote
