*A:M User* Roger Posted September 29, 2011 *A:M User* Share Posted September 29, 2011 Great, as if I didn't have enough problems now my laptop shat itself. Guess I am going to have to start googling Lenovo beep codes because that is all it is doing now.
*A:M User* Roger Posted September 29, 2011 Author *A:M User* Share Posted September 29, 2011 Well according to the Lenovo people, 1 beep 3beeps *pause* 3 beeps 1 beep is a DIMM problem. (in case anyone else has a Lenovo) I reseated the DIMM and it is working again, but wonder why it failed, since I didn't drop or jostle the machine and haven't been fooling around with it. Guess I'm just glad it is working again.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted September 29, 2011 Hash Fellow Share Posted September 29, 2011 It's probably been hanging on by a few molecules of gold leaf and finally decided to let go. It's good those beeps are there.
*A:M User* Roger Posted September 29, 2011 Author *A:M User* Share Posted September 29, 2011 Who knows why it decided to stop working, maybe I didn't insert it fully the first time and it just started to be a problem now? *shrugs* Luckily it is working now, I had a spare so it wouldn't have been a huge problem. I'm just glad it wasn't the logic board.
