north Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 okay, i finished the exercise, but when testing the model on how it moves, everything worked great with the exception of lower right leg that seems to have control points not assign to the right leg since it basically doesnt move with the rest of the leg. i attached an image of what i am talking about.....it seems to me that all the control points are assign.... i am thinking of doing the draw lasso and just assign the control points all over again, though still they seem to be all assign already...please help. TheSpleen Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 you have a few cp's not assigned or they are assigned to another bone try to manually pick those cp's yourself and reassign them to the bone needed. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted September 12, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted September 12, 2010 What Spleen said. It looks like there's a small black area on his right leg in that Cp assignment view. That suggests some CPs are still assigned to the model bone. Make sure you have Lock CPs off while you are lassoing CPs Quote
north Posted September 12, 2010 Author Posted September 12, 2010 excellent thanks guys, i knew it was the cps somewhere...thanks rob for pointing me in the right direction on where they were located....the model works normally now. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted September 12, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted September 12, 2010 One not-quite-related tip... when you are animating anything with this AM2001 rig, turn off the "balance" and "balance steady" sliders. Auto-balance is a bad feature you don't want. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted September 12, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted September 12, 2010 where do i find that??? In the Pose window or in the Properties window under "User Properties" If you do this while you are looking at the model in the model window and then resave, that will be the default for the model If you do this while the model is selected in a chor or action window, that will be the state only for that chor or action.
