.mov fields missing

ok this is more of a has this happened to you vs a how do i do this qustion.

 

iv noted that most if not all movies uploaded to the forums are in .mov format ( or quicktime usable) but when ever i try and save as .mov or render as .mov the file never finishes being built , the computer will have a link to it but its a missing file and when trying to save again it keeps giving a file file window and loses the render compleatly forcing me to rerender the whoel lenght of the movie, .avi still works

 

i have quicktime installed so its very anoying

Don't render to H.264 codec

 

your problem may be something else, but A:M doesn't work with H.264
