Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 7, 2008 Hash Fellow Share Posted October 7, 2008 That looks much improved! and the decal sits on it better as a result. Here are some things I see... the red circles are CP s that have too many splines going to it. The two splines that travel thru it aren't the problem, it's the one spline that dead-ends at that CP that is the problem. those need to be re routed. the blue circle is a CP that is dead ending in the middle of the side of a patch. The 5 point patch you made there is legal, but but that almost never looks good and I bet it's why the decal has a smear about there. Normally that would be a place to put a hook, but in this case I'd detach the deadend spline you have going into red circle A and conncet it to the dead end spline at the blue circle. (like inthe bottome picture) Two dead end splines gone! then the light green shaded area would be a 5-point patch. the yellow area looks like the back of the front leg isn't spliced in correctly yet. But hard to know the exact solution from just seeing pics of it. I've made a tut on the general strategy for eliminating dead-end splines: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?s=&am...st&p=283577
