Animate along a path over time???

I am aware that you can constrain a character or an object to a path and render that animated action over time.

For example, create a walk cycle for a character and have him walk along a spline/path placed on the ground.

The question is:

Is there a way to have a cross section of a model follow a path in the choreography window and sort of build itself over time. Think of a model that magically grows and grows unto completion before ones eyes. An example of this might be a single spline/path that swirls around to look like a written version of the fluid Coca Cola logo. Could you have a cross section of a model follow that sweeping path and animate over time so that a model of that logo appears bit by bit?

Think of a background that looks like an architects blueprint page.....and the models (or the architects designs) draw themselves into existence. This wouldn't be something that uses simple masks to wipe a part of the model away but more like the SWEEPER plug in where things are actually built using splines as guidelines? Sweeper does it in an instant but I'm thinking more of something that can be created /animated overtime.

Thanks to any ideas as to how to achieve this?

-Use sweeper to make a complete model.

-Give each segment a group name

-Apply a transparent material to hide the whole model

-In the chor Enable "Show more than drivers", progressively apply a visible material to more and more groups over time until the whole model is revealed

I tried looking for the Enable "Show more than drivers" function but could not find it. I tried right clicking on"Choreography" and looked in the Tools/Options/Choreography Menu ...

Can you please be more specific about where to find it....Thanks!!

In the chor there is a listing for every object. To the right of each object are some icons. Mouse over them to find "show more than driver"

Do a search in the Help on "Show more than drivers" and a topic will come up that shows it.
