Rotoscope and rulers and lines disappeared

Hi - for some reason my rotoscope, screen lines and rulers have disappeared from every angle. Rulers are checked "on" and the rotoscope is also "on" and I have shut down the program and restarted w/ the same problem - this happens now and then - has anyone else run into this and know how to fix it? Unless I am just doing something real stupid, which I don't think is the issue this time.

you're probably in "perspective" mode. Hit '\' to switch between perspective and orthogonal views.

Thanks Luuk - before I read this I closed the model down and clicked on it to bring it back up and the problem was gone - I'll try what you mentioned if it happens again.
