transfering files to different computers

Hello all.

I work on a Macintosh, and I had started some models at home. I also use a Mac at work, same operating system. I saved some files on my USB drive and took the program to work, and the files won't open.

I'm running the same, updated AM program at work. Am I missing a step in saving the program?

Thanks!

Same version of A:M on both macs? V12 can't load V13 data.

were you trying to load a PRJ? if so, were the models embedded in the PRJ or were they saved separately?

maybe you forgot to bring the separate files with you.

Here's a suggestion: save your project, then consolidate it (on the Project menu) to a temporary folder. You might find you have a lot of things in the consolidated folder that you don't actually have on the other computer you're trying to move your work to. Anyway, if your goal is to do a render on another machine, that might be the option you want, anyway.
