i've been trying to work with primitives from the library. what i discovered is that altering the primitive in the model screen alters the primitive in the library. how can i alter the primitive and keep the library primitive in mint condition?

This is what I do: after I open the primitive from the library, I select it and copy it. Then I delete the primitive, it'll ask if I want to save the changes, I choose NO. Then I paste the primitive in my model window.

Much easier is to use the plug-in for primitives. You can make them just the way you want them.

I don't think I've opened up one of the original primitive models since V10.5.

What plug in?
