Stupid question but here it goes!!

When I click on add mode to draw my outline when ever i want to place a certain point it wont do it unless

its on a corner of the grid. I want to be able to place it any where on the grid not just the corners. I figure its just a setting and I cant seem to find where to turn it off.

Sounds like snap to grid is turned on. Under the options and I beleive modeling tab there is a check mark for snap to grid. Remove the check mark and you should be good to go

Well, it's just an icon on the top toolbar that you can toggle on and off. (Unless mine is customized). If I remember rightly, pressing Shift+3 will do the same thing.
