Microscopic Cell

I saw something in another forum that inspired me to do a quick test of a microscopic cell. I really haven't spent much time on this, but would like to know if anyone has a material that might suit the "electron microscope" look.

The material looks good, but generally with electron micros scopes you don't see any shadows, also consider over-saturated oranges, blues and greens, since false color electron microscope images are popular, and the folks adding the false color generally didn't take any art classes

 

It is not so much that there are no shadows it is just that the "light" source is at a very narrow angle with the "camera"

Yeah, make sure to put the light almost completely behind the camer.

 

I made some color changed to show just a few renditions of the cell.

Almost all electron Microscope images I've seen have very rounded surfaces. Even on metalic substances.

 

They seem to have a glow or ambiance.
