I always liked the cut-out style animation like used on Nickelodeon's "Blue's Clues". I really liked how it was used in "Olive the Other Reindeer" which mixed 2D and 3D. I don't really know a lot of the 2D apps and the ones I tried, I always had problems with something. So I thought I'd try it in A:M. because that's what I know. The ease of modeling, texturing, rigging, and muscle mode, all made it go so fast and easy. Here is a little test I did in just a few hours last night. (The character design is from a children's book)

7 layers (pupils, eyes, head, teeth, arms, body, leg1, leg2) - all flat objects
