thingGO
It kinda looks like sock puppet love to me. The sock puppet lovers have got a lot more action! But, but, problems, problems! Help needed! How to get the mouths stay together animating the rest of the bodies? And how to get the bodies stay in some good shape? during the loving? roboromance02.mov
ChrisThom
Use a constraint to have the mouths stick together.
thingGO
Use a constraint to have the mouths stick together. What constraint? Aim at? using the mouth bones?
thingGO
And I have used fan bones! to try to get the body shapes stay. But what kind of constraint to apply to them? And constraint to what? And when to apply the constraints to the fan bones? in an Action? And I have to do it in compensate mode? First selecting the Compensate button and when? ChrisThom
Create a bone just for the lips and do a translate to constraint. Watch this video. It may help you understand.
thingGO
Create a bone just for the lips and do a translate to constraint. Tried to constrain the lips to each other - ending up in a circel reference - A:M crashed! Perhaps you have to have a third object to constrain the lips to? And hopefully you can hide that third object? Thanks for a little more advice!
Vash
Well it should have worked..... that is unless you constrained one set to the other AND the other to one set. This doesn't work. Two options as I see it. You could JUST constrain one set to the other, or you could create a new null and set it where the lips should lock and constrain both lip sets to it. These are the options as I see them. There are probably more. Nice actions by the way.
thingGO
or you could create a new null and set it where the lips should lock and constrain both lip sets to it. Thanks! But how to create a null? Is it kind of dummy object.
