Here's my first attempt at a charcter for a project that I have had rolling around in my brain for some time.

This is just a beginning but I think I like the direction this is headed (no pun intended).

so do I, it looks good! what's it going to be? what kind of bird? and most importantly: what crazy situation are you going to put him in?

you kidding me? it might be my sight, cause I've had like 3 hours of sleep the last 3 days(and I blame Animation Master! :P) and I can't see too clear, but I swear to God, for me that looks like the head of a bird

A little further along now.

I haven't stitched the head to the body because I'm still figuring out the arm/hand and leg/foot design.

Honestly, I was hoping for something more cartoony looking than it's turing out but maybe I can tweek it a bit as things progress.

If nothing else it's great practice.

So last night I went to bed OK with the way this was turning out but not crazy about it.

So this morning after rethinking the character and actually seeing what a Toucan should look like I came up with this.

I think I'm much happier with the way this is going toward my original vision.

I've still got to work on the mashed potatoes in his neck but ifeel like Im imn a much better direction.

BTW, I think if A:M had some sort of autosave feature the amount of cursing I do would be greatly reduced.
