lol i was thinking of how the mushroom with wings could be some kinda new mushroom. i got some crazy ideas.

could you work a bit on the claws? they are a bit too straight
and the nose is a bit strange

it was like a 5 second setup, i went for slightly dynamic.

sorry my scanner messing up, it may be a while before i can scan the rotoscope....

simple the hair system, to make them look like feathers go to the hairs thickness right click and click "time based" then goto the time line and out can change the hair thickness from 0%(the beginning) to 100%(the end) so that way it looks like feathers.
if you practice your rendering the 3d would be best, but as of now the toon rendered.

lol its 90% hair lol, the base is invisible.
the wireframe would look like a small modeled shape and a bunch of lines

same thoughts man, same thoughts...but really i believed that it could also serve as a defense as well. but the idea of shining stars radiating from the castle does set a nice picture in the mind.
EDIT:btw for those of you who think the wings are out of place, think of the koopas and goombas who have wings on occasion...
