  1. Rodney, pop my name in the hat as well please.
  2. lOOKS GREAT. There are a couple of small points, there are a couple of frames where the foot comes in front of the childs head. When the missile hits, make him fall over slowly, it will give a better impression of his size. But this is great work.
  3. The spider looks quite good as it is.
  4. The choice of avatar is obviously a sign of good taste. I'll update it with something swish as soon as I do something worthy to use as an avatar.
  5. jfirestine, the ears are done as seperate objects. Thanks for the advice Zach. I'll have another go with the eyes and mouth modeled in first and I'll post the udated model. (with wireframe).
  6. I have to agree, the hnead looks a little small, but fantastic modelling.

    Bear

Here is my first try at modelling one of my own concepts. It's supposed to be quite stylised which is why it looks a little like a rat with small ears. I need a little advice on the best way to model a mouth into my head. I have tried modelling the lower jaw separately and then joining it but I end up with some nasty peaks. I don't want to play around with the gammas too much as it will eventually be a dancing bear (that sings a little) and i don't want any unpredictable motion. Anyway, I know that it's not much so far, but here it is.
  8. Nice, like the lean back, makes it look like his feet are getting away from him.
  9. As a model test it's good. There are no obvious spline problems with the model. It would be good to see a textured render and maybe some screen grabs of your bone set-up. But, good work!
  10. A ridiculously large amount of fish info is available from http://www.fishbase.org/search.cfm You could get lost for days trying to find Nemo in this lot. You will be able to get hundreds of photographs to use for decaling your designs. Some of the deep water fish look to match the mood you have captured with your modelling. Keep posting your updates, they are a real inspiration.
  11. Some superb designs here, very atmospheric. Have you tried them with pectoral fins? It may add a little more menace.
