Ooooohh. Purty! That looks sweet.

Ken, there are quite a few things I could use but I'm not putting in any proxies myself. That's Modelling's job and if Animation starts doing Modelling's work, we end up with problems and things that have to get re-done. I'm only doing this once.
-
Wow! That looks magnificent.
-
Thanks, Al! That looks great!
Don't upload the .hinfo files. They are just your cached window layout. I think you can exclude the file type completely. When you upload your files (SVN commit), right-click the .hinfo file and choose "add to ignore list."

I'd like to echo Frank. I'm cutting these scenes together and everything from timing, pacing, cuts, etc. is going to change when we get the proper voice tracks. I've got everyone on hold right now while I'm waiting for the set pieces and dialog.
-
The proxies that I'm using now aren't very good at all. In fact, they look nothing like the current set. Maybe I'm using the wrong proxy? The Scarecrow's seat is strangely high and I doubt that's how the final will look. The chess board isn't really important but the furniture in the room is.
-
Are Woot's stool, the Scarecrow's throne/table, his chess board and the chess pieces on SVN yet?
-
There are definitely some scale issues with Tinman and the throne. I've been noticing as I put these together. I've been eyeballing a scale change but I'd prefer this was handled by modelling so it stays consistent.
-
No problem. Just keep me in the loop.

Thanks!

I got the new files but "throne_room_assembly_v13.act" doesn't seem to be updated with all of the set props. Is there another action I should be using?
*edit* To be more clear, I'm currently using "throne_room_v13.mdl" with that action. Let me know if it should be something else.
*edit2* I created "throne_room_throne_placement.act" because I didn't want to change "throne_room_assembly_v13.act" but I would prefer if everything that should be in the room was in the one action.
*edit3* Are we still using this throne? -- \Shared Data\Models\Props\Tin Castle\Tinmans Throne\Tinmans throne.mdl? I notice there's a different one in the above image.

Perfect, Rodger. Thanks! The dais is a rough version but the overall proportions and height won't change much. This should be enough for your blocking. -
I like these kinds of props!
"Y'alls best reckinize. Re-SPECK!"

Not final yet but some things are difficult to block properly without certain props or set layouts.
-
That would be great. Pretty much anything the characters interact with in any way or affects their placement/eyelines is pretty important.
-
Has any more work been done to the interior throneroom? Things like the riser/steps the Tinman's throne is on, etc. would be very useful.
-
*moved to 'Tin Castle Interior Set' topic*

Some of the props I need:
Scarecrow's throne
Chess board
Chess pieces (Nancy?)
Table for chess board
Woot's chair
If these are done, can someone point me to them and if not, can they be moved up in someone's priority list?
Thanks.

Everything my team and I are doing at this point is 24fps, 16:9 (640x360). I'm in the process of switching all of the files now. Bob was using the small size and 30 fps for the animatic. I have no idea why though since 16:9/24fps was (I thought) agreed upon a while ago.

None of the ones with the new castle set are uploaded yet. If you open:
...\Shared Data\Models\Set_chors\Tinmans Castle\final castle\rr_throneroom\throne_room_v13.mdl
and then add "throne_room_assembly_v13.act" from the same directory to its shortcut, it adds all of the other models, lights, etc.

Excellent. Thanks, Jody!

Can you drop me an e-mail when the interior is uploaded? I could really use at least a rough proxy to re-stage my scene.

*bump*
Anyone? Where do we stand with this?
-
Where are we with this? The scene I'm working on relies heavily on dialog and I don't want to time gestures to the current track.

You can right click on a range of frames and select "snap to frames" after scaling them. Then you can select them easily again.
*edit* or use the keyboard shortcut Ken suggested above. Same thing.
