  1. The green one, soon to be no 55. the one with the spline problems. THis model has some ugly internal splines that I can't delete ot AM crashes. but their are only two ugly splines and they are internals so they get to stay. also the ugly patch behind the cockpit is from another problematic spot where the software would not let me put a 5 point patch, period

  2. well done. I agree with many of the previous posters that the room is too clean. I also feel like the walls between the stalls should be thinner (about 1" thick) with a monochromatic paint scheme. It would also be great if the grout was darker on the floor, unless you want the room to look new and clean. Remember a little graffiti goes a long way.

  3. As long as low res is the goal and its going to be textured anyways, couldn't the crease at the edge of the mask be handled as a texture map, as oposed to actual polys? Looks great in either case, I just have found smoother surfaces tend to be easier to texture and get good results. also when it comes to dumping polys for the hair you could model three or four strands on either side and model the rest as a blob.

  4. one of the key things with those free webspace accounts is that most (all that I have found, but there could be one I don't know about)will require you to link to a html page as oposed to linking to the file directly. The is acceptable, but know that you have do it. It may save you some heartache later.

  5. The difference between the two reels is subtle but crucial the second one feels so much more professional, If I was going to add anything I might consider some sot of gas or dust release when the ball is dropped initaily, or some sort of volumetric effect on the projection when it first lights up, but not both. But I am very impressed the effect is very good.

  6. Its funny, but everyone I have shown the two planes to has liked the black one better, they say it is more space age. I still like the orange one (so much that I have rigged poses for all the control surfaces and corresponding controls), but it shocks me how much people prefer the black. On that thought does any one have any ideas as to how to have a black model that still can show shadows on itself? do I need to increase specular size to something ludicrous? or should I change it to grey?

  7. The afterburner is a streak emitter with a particle size of .6m with a transparancy that changes over time to 0% after 3 frames. Glow is set to on

the smoke trail is a different streak emitter with a 1.2m particle that fades in after 4 frames and fades out after 5 seconds

  8. your spot with the missing patch looks like a spot to put in a 5 pt patch to do it click on each of the five points and the icon that looks like a pentagon should activate, when you click it, the patch will be made.

Also I don't think you uploaded the film you think you did, I got a short video of two balls falling and bouncing a little
