  1. Hi guys, there is an Animation Master User Group Los Angeles. We don't meet as often as I'm sure any of us would like. We are all quite busy and most of us are working professionals. All levels of A:M users are welcome at all times and there are no fees nor dues. My name is Frank Silas (http://www.franksilas.com). Beverly Turner , Dr. Eddie and myself are the founders of this group. We usually find a nice place that will host us free of charge. At this point in time we are looking for a new place in the Los Angeles area to host our next meeting. I need to go in for surgery so I don't think we'll be having another meeting until after November of this year. You can see and read information on our past meetings as well as get updates on the group's progress at http://www.franksilas.com/AMLA.htm . Frank Silas co-founder AMLA
  2. Here's the wireframe. Now we need a photorealistic way to add leaves. :-) Frank Silas http://www.franksilas.com
  3. Ok, here's another one. This time I made the target a half sphere patch surface. The base was a small circle spline. Frank Silas http://www.franksilas.com
  4. Here's a color render using a Darktree texture. Frank Silas http://www.franksilas.com
  5. Hi guys, here's my output using Marcel's Tree Generator. It's awesome! You need to make sure you create a base and a target group in your model, then open it in an action. Right click then go to Wizard and TreeeZ. Caplow, instant tree. You will want to experiment with your base and target shapes. I've found that a small circular base and a large grid target works very well. Here are some screen-shots. Frank Silas http://www.franksilas.com
