  1. Was Michael Jackson also done in A:M? What happened to that TRex on the beach near the end of the trailer? It sorta flips around, but it went by too fast to see.
  2. I can't see the mesh in that picture, so this advice might not work: but have you tried running a few extra splines the length of the arm and then 'hook' them into the shoulder area? It may give you the extra CP's you need to round out the shape. (I'm not sure how well hooks hold up during animation though, esp. in joint areas where there's a lot of mesh deformation during posing. Experiment, see what happens.)
  3. I like it! It has character. It looks like it would be a good mesh to toon render.
  4. Looks REALLY nice. Maybe crop it a bit; there's dead space along the bottom of the picture where nothing is happening, and since the aliens are the focus of the pic anyway ... why not bring us closer to them and the action? Or scatter the debris farther out into the room to make use of the space? Alternatively, you could add more drama and a layer of depth to the image by putting another alien up closer to the camera -- sort of like he's barking orders to the horde spilling in behind him. Maybe, by way of visually explaining how the hole was made, you could add some fire and smoke behind the aliens from the just-detonated bomb. Perhaps obscure the aliens partially in the smoke as they emerge, adding some menace and mystery. These are more suggestions than critiques; the actual image works quite nicely all by itself. :)
  5. What's your process for modeling that figure? Are you modeling each muscle seperately and then stitching it in with the rest? Or, are you modeling the whole thing in one shot?
  6. I like the waist, personally! It exaggerates the rib-cage and makes the creature look more other-worldly. I like the back-story of having the human elements emaciated and the aquatic-creature elements thrive. I think it'll really pop to life with the surface images.
