  1. Thanks jon, I know its not a film, tv or a game...but it's cool to have someone want your pictures
  2. Just a quick update. The ten minutes work has paid off . I've been asked to supply the devil in various guises for a forum who are going to use it in their banner. They want to do a Google type thing and have the devil in various costumes for different seasons, holidays, etc. Here's the one I quickly did for summer
  3. Like the sun, I like the 'hand-made' look to this. Great work
  4. I like that, simple design. Good work
  5. Added a tail and button eyes
  6. It's my first model for about 2 years. I know it's not the Balrog or one of Jim Talbot's quality, but hey, it only took about 10 minutes
  7. Thanks for the great comments guys, although I can't really take credit for it. Like I said befire, I saw one like this on DeviantArt and being such a simple design, I thought I would make one myself to get back into modelling. The original did have button eyes, so I may add them as well. A tail would also help to make this my own, rather than a copy, so that too I think. As soon as I get some work out of the way, I'll get right back to it.
  8. Thanks...that's what appealed to me about the original. A very simple design, yet quite endearing.
  9. I haven't done any modelling for a long time, so when I saw a model, very similar to this, done in Blender on DeviantArt, I thought I would brush up on my skills and recreate it (especially as it's a very simple model).
  10. I love the model JB1. You've definately got a knack. However, in your animation I noticed what appears to be a hole in the model under the right arm pit. Still a great model though, and much better than my first (second, third, fourth, etc) attempt. [attachmentid=16542]
  11. At last...another update. I have tweeked the character a little more, made her a little fatter and more in keeping with the character brief that I was given. I have also started to rig, hopefully I will have that done in the next day or so, depending on how much of my real work I have this weekend.
  12. OK, finally got around to doing some more. Got that hole in the head covered I know she's looking a little startled right now, but that's because I am in the process of rigging and have yet to do the eyelids. Comments please
  13. Hi Grubber, The top of the head is actuaccly a hole at the moment, it will be covered by the hair when I get to it. The ears are a pain. I always have trouble with them As for the t-shirt, to be honest, I didn't consider using the cloth simulation. I would need to rewok the splines a little if I did tho. Thanks for the comments
  14. Working on a short animation for a charity over here in the UK, just thought I would show you all the progress I am making of one of the characters. Comments welcome Mark Oxley
  15. Thanks for the comments, guys. I have wrestled over creating a decent head for a few months now. This is the first one I am really happy with.
  16. Great model, I love the simplicity of it. And I think the colours are pretty cool. I would love to see it animated.
  17. I would be grateful for any comments on this head I have just modelled. I intend to use this character for a 5-7 minute short I'm working on. Mark
