agreed, built my machine myself, had no probs with AMD whatsoever; the price in comparison to intels equivilent is just rediculous too.

thanks, that was one of the first things I laid down, I like it because it gives you that tight fold that u get in real life; but the spline now curles round into the nostril which saved a bit of mess i was having. I will try to get more done then post with something more substantial. But if anyone can see any major problems with the splinage then please let me know!

Hello smiley hashy people, I have just started a new wip of my friends head; I say friend but if he sees what im doing to him he might not be anymore! He's probably not the easyest subject as he has a broken nose, and i took the pictures after an evening of boozing so the rotos arent perfect but theyl do!
I was aiming to get the concentric ring thing implemented, but im not sure its done quite right.
heres a rendered image

cool, i really like how it's changed from the begging, small changes that over time, have made an important difference. i think maybe a little bumpier might add a touch more realism; perhaps a render lit a little dramatically to show of the features?
why blue eyes?!! regards -- Nixie

are you using multipass?
-
not too sure, but i think its something like creasing when you come to move parts that are biased! but then im only guessing so dont quote me!

not sure about the manual, but the tutorial vids on the hash site are great if u havent taken a look; 'say that' is the one you want, starts with lipsynch dopesheet and goes into adding facial poses
-
Im sorry, I dont know, ive never touched bias handles out of fear! but just wanted to say that apparently they can cause problems when animating. but them becoming fixed sounds odd?
any one able to help?

Yes, genius! Sir Nigel needs one of those very British, aristocratic 'one raised eyebrow' ! we all do it over here! youl see all the guys in George Hurrell's work doing it! awsome as I have already said!
well done Jim

That is an awesome image! no other comments needed, you got the bump down to a tee

not very long at all! took 3 days I think?
-
have you had a fiddle with the displacement percent?!
-
cheers! its true that you learn something new every day!

what do you think? it looks a little dark I feel but it does let the robo stand out more,

I've always thought that software was only allowed to be installed on 1 computer at a time usually; but I *think* that AM is licenced per user rather than per machine? I have a PC and would really love to get a powerbook and was hoping to be able to use AM on both? Anyone Know for sure?

Nice, Very Nice! Its a very nice choice of colour too

I would concur, I've been trying my hand (and failing) at animation recently, and you make it look easy! 4 hours is pretty impressive my friend!

Right now heres an update; I have finished the back of the head and most of the neck is finished. found the joys of porcelain too! If its okay with my friend Il give this mesh to the community when im done. But im not! Ears are going to be difficult, I see so many good ears on here; do you guys lathe and delete half and tweak or what? or just knit the splines from scratch?
thankful of any guidance!
